  • Brief introduction

    The square column clamp is a new type of complementary fastener designed to reinforce square and rectangular columns. With its superior construction techniques and excellent formwork-shaping performance, it eliminates the conventional pairing of tension bolts and steel pipes, significantly reducing the risk of formwork collapse—compared to traditional wood, aluminum, and steel formwork systems. In terms of safety, wear resistance, mobility, and convenience, it offers unparalleled advantages. The square column fixture is crafted from high-strength L-shaped steel (Q500), boasting a strength 3 to 4 times greater than that of conventional Q235B steel pipes. Its unique design consists of a specially customized matching clamp paired with four individual, curved, single-piece galvanized steel plates. One end of each plate features an inclined bracing structure, while every plate includes evenly spaced fixed holes along its length. A wedge-shaped locking pin—referred to as the "plug"—can be inserted through these fixed holes, securely connecting the limiting sleeve to the plate. After being hammered into place and tightened, this setup forms a convenient, detachable square-column damper template fastener, as illustrated in the diagram.

    This specification card is made from standard 8.0 steel. It has a total length of 1182 mm and weighs 17.28 kg. At the construction site, to identify the square-column reinforcing bars of this specified model, simply count the number of single-row square holes at one end of the card: for cards measuring 400–600 mm, there are 10 square holes.     3. 700-1000mm Model

    This specification card is made from standard 10.0 steel. It has a total length of 1,660 millimeters and weighs 35.08 kilograms. At the construction site, each square-column reinforcing bar component of this specification type features 10 single-row square holes at one end, easily distinguishable by measuring the overall length with a tape measure. This card is a commonly used type in construction. When creating square columns of varying diameters across different floors, simply adjusting the dimensions of the cardboard allows for convenient and efficient work.

    4. 900-1200mm Model

    This specification card is made from standard 10.0 steel. It has a total length of 1860 mm and weighs 39.28 kg. At the construction site, each end of the square-column reinforcing bar components of this specification type features a single row of 10 square holes. Simply measure the overall length with a tape measure to easily identify them. This card is ideal for manufacturing large-diameter square columns. It can be used in various applications for square columns ranging in diameter from 900 mm to 1200 mm, offering quick adjustments and standardized efficiency.

    5. 1100-1400mm Model

    This specification card is made from standard 11.0 steel. It has a total length of 2,075 mm and weighs 50.3 kg. At the construction site, one end of this model-specific card features a single row of 10 square holes, easily distinguishable by measuring the overall length with a tape measure. The card is suitable for use in constructing square columns with diameters exceeding one meter. When securing formwork for large-diameter square columns, this innovative card significantly enhances overall installation efficiency, making it easy to tighten, dismantle, and recycle.

    6. 1300-1600mm Model

    This specification card is made from standard 12.0 steel. It has a total length of 2300mm and weighs 59.08kg. At the construction site, for square column cards of this specification and model, one end features a single row of 10 square holes. This can be easily identified by measuring the overall length with a tape measure. The card is suitable for large-diameter square columns with an adjustable range from 1300mm to 1600mm. It is a standard fastening clip that, once the formwork is erected on-site, can be directly secured onto the formwork, significantly reducing installation time and allowing concrete to be poured directly.

    7. 1500-1800mm Model

    It is constructed with two layers of welding. The card is made from 10.0-grade standard steel, measuring 1500–1800 mm in total length, with an overall length of 2385 mm. This card is perfectly suited for the construction of large-diameter square columns in major engineering projects. During the custom fabrication process, combined with mechanical testing conducted by the Building Research Center, the card features a robust double-layer weld. As a result, after rapid tightening and demolding following concrete pouring, it delivers high-quality exposed concrete finishes directly on the column surface.
